Booktube-A-Thon 2014

So, it is this time again: Booktube-A-Thon starts in a few hours. And it seems that I'm so excited about it that I finally decided to create this blog just before it officially starts, so that I can share my progress with everyone participating.

I participated last year and have been waiting for this second edition all year.

If you don't know what Booktube-A-Thon is, don't panic: you can find all the information you need on the official Booktube-A-Thon YouTube Channel. Basically, it is a week-long readathon hosted by the lovely Ariel Bissett, mostly aiming at celebrating BookTube but also reading in general. And it is a lot of fun.

This year, there are 7 challenges to complete, and here the books that I chose to read:

• A book with pictures: The lurking fear, by H.P Lovecraft
• Start AND finish a series: Eon & Eona, by Alison Goodman
• A book with red on the cover: all 3 of them have red on their covers 8)
• A book someone else picks out for you: We were liars, by E. Lockhart 
• A book from the genre you've read the least this year: The Seven Dials Mystery, by Agatha Christie
• A book to movie adaptation: L'élégance du hérisson, by Muriel Barbery 
• Read seven books: all of the above + This song will save your life, by Leila Sales
